The Red Dog Project

About This Project

The Red Dog Project was named after a sickly little pittie girl named Chelsea who was saved from Bridgeport, CT. The mission of this program is to find rehabilitative settings for shelter dogs who need more time between their rescue and walking into their forever home. The Red Dog Project had the distinction of placing dogs into the York Correctional women’s facility in Niantic, CT for several years and we continue to find and place at risk dogs with foster homes.
